Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Froze my machine during the conversion of large WMV file - even the clock stopped...
Couldn't even get the Force Quit window to activate - had to force a power off and in doing so wound-up with a bunch of corrupted files.

Not cool.

Crashed your system? - ProgrammingKid

I am so sorry to hear about your crash. I have never heard or experienced Flv Crunch crashing Mac OS X itself. I would like to know why you think it is Flv Crunch that crashed your computer. Can I obtain some information about your system. Processor? Model? OS version?

Crashed your system? - Tee

The only activity going on with the system at the time was the FLV Crunch conversion. I wasn't even touching the machine. When I checked on the progress of the conversion I noticed that everything had frozen, I then walked away again and gave it another 15 minutes - still frozen.
I couldn't bring-up the Force Quit window, so I had no other choice to force a power off...

Is this problem repeatable? - ProgrammingKid

Does this problem happen every time you run Flv Crunch, or was it a one time thing? How many times have you noticed this problem?

I converted a few smaller quicktime movies without any problem. Maybe it was the WMV that caused a problem - I'm afraid to retry the same file to see f it happens again...
