This app still gives an AppleScript error on launch (on a late-2008 2.4 GHz Intel Core2Duo Unibody 13" MacBook with 4 GB of RAM running 10.6.1, so processor speed is not the problem, as the dev suggests), and it will not save and quit the Preferences -- the window just keeps opening up again after I click Save or click the red close-window button. This would continue to happen into infinity if I kept trying.
I haven't tested its DVD-ripping prowess yet because I sort of require an app to operate normally before I'll consider keeping it on my hard drive just to avoid any problems it might cause with other apps or the OS.
So far, no go.
