See Title above - Captain FTP 6.2 will not launch on Tiger - Developer Site indicates that 6.1 is the last version with Tiger support.

Captain FTP 6.2 is for Leopard and Snow Leopard Only - mactifosi

There was a small bug in the download OS detection, this is now fixed.

We made one version for Snow and another for Tiger etc.
We should detect your OS and provide the correct version.

This did not work correctly at first, it does now.
