Not sure what that's all about. I installed Apple TV 3.0 while still using iTunes 9.0.1 and it seemed to work fine and recognized my ATV with the 3.0 software. However, I didn't try to actually move anything from my computer to the ATV before updating to 9.0.2 so I don't know if that functionality worked.

I lost several movies from iTunes library after installing. They're completely gone!
