Maybe I' wrong, but what's the use of a 10 MB thing and wasting time into converting when Safari can easily download any flash streaming video (flv) and Quicktime playing it perfectly well ??!!

Safari cannot save every video and audio streams. Not to my knowledge anyway.
Also, QT cannot play .flv files by default and needs additional libraries as Perian.
