Existing users, 
This feature worked well in trial mode with less than 10 recipients but once I registered the app, it started to fail badly.
Firstly, my recipients database was too big and made the app crash (+-1000 email adresses). then the internal mail server kept on returning errors. It rapidly became unusable.
I'm now looking into setting up my own smtp server on my Mac but that is not why I paid for this app.

As is said on the account settings screen as well as in the user manual, the internal mail server can not be used with all internet connections. The reason for this is that some e-mail servers reject mails from certain (mainly private) ip addresses due to their anti-spam policy. This results in the error messages you are seeing as each mail bounces. There is nothing SerialMailer (or any other mail server) could do about this.The same problem will occur with the separate mail server you're trying to set up on your mac. Please use the built-in smtp client of SerialMailer instead if your internet connection doesn't allow you to use the internal server.
SerialMailer is well tested and can handle far more than 1000 recipients.
