I've never ever had a problem with this great software. But for whatever reason, upon downloading the 2.7.7 DMG today (10 times, mind you, both automatically and manually), I was unable to Mount the DMG. I get a "no mountable file systems" very time.
I have seen this in the past with a couple other DMGs not related to SpamSieve. But I was able to resolve the problem on those simply by using Disk Utility to "Convert" the DMG to a Read/Write or Read Only format. I tried that on this Spam Sieve DMG and it doesn't work.
So for now, I am unable to upgrade due to what appears to be a bug in the DMG (Tiger incompatibility?).

I've tested the SpamSieve 2.7.7 download and auto-update on a PowerPC Mac running Tiger, and it worked perfectly. This is still a common configuration, and no other customers have reported problems. So my guess is that the problem is at your end; perhaps a cache somewhere is messed up, and that's why repeated attempts failed.As always, if you encounter a problem with SpamSieve, please contact spamsieve@c-command.com. Can't Mount DMG on Tiger! - Jason!
I was able to upgrade on my Intel iMac at the office, so it would appear to be a PPC and/or Tiger conflict with DMG mounting. Sadly, I don't know how to fix it.Reply to This
