Existing users, 
I've found PithHelmet exceptionally valuable over the years. I've experienced no delays. But I run into a glitch right after I click on "Destination Select." The two destination options display with the top one lightly highlighted. Neither destination can be selected. The "Continue" button is gray and the only visible choice is "Go Back" The old PithHelmet 2.8.5 (85) installer, on the other hand, displays the top option for destination with darker highlighting and a workable "Continue" button.

OS: 10.5.8
Mac: Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5
Please share an installation troubleshooting hint.

If you are running 10.5 still, stick with the old version. 3.0b1 is a very early beta, really intended just to get something working on 64 bit safari in 10.6. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it could only install on a 10.6 volume, and that's your whole problem. I'm not saying this is the case- I really don't know- it just wouldn't surprise me. At any rate, being that 3.0b1 is no where near finished yet, if you aren't on 10.6 stick with the old version for now, even if you can get 3.0 to install.Reply to This
