Though the product does what is stated, it is confusing that the system TimeMachine function is turned off. The TimeMachine option to "Show Time Machine status in the menu bar" (in the System preference) indicates that TimeMachine is unavailable and also inaccurately shows the last backup.

I find this aspect to make this misleading and inaccurate.
