I have used Addressix for several years. I am currently using 1.4.9. It is an application which continues to work and which both remembers previously used addresses and preloads Address Book data, and which includes FIM / the Facing Identification Mark, if that is important to you.
Addressix costs $13 EEwidget is $0 - AmbrosiaSW
Addressix does seem to have some nice options, but, not that vastly different from what this simple free widget offers.I imagine if people have that much of a need, and feel like paying the 13 dollars for the product to get that added feature then it's worth it to them.
If any of the users feel that they would like to see other features in this widget they are free to write their suggestions to help@AmbrosiaSW.com and they will pass the info to the developers to see what they can do.
