Hello everyone, Alessandro speaking here. I don't mean to interfere but I would like to point out that several of the issues listed here in the comments are described and solved in the Support and Step by Step sections of the USB Overdrive website. The Volume and Eject keys on Apple keyboards can be configured with the Overdrive or given back to the OS in a couple of simple steps. Users who complain that the new version of the Overdrive is not working may have run into the Snow Leopard cache problem, which has nothing to do with the Overdrive itself (yes, reinstalling 10.4.8 may work but then again reinstalling 3.0.1 would do the same). Posting negative feedback is the right thing to do if something doesn't work and a problem can't be solved, but if you're looking for solutions I'd love to help. There are hundreds of users who are really happy with 3.0. Speak up guys! Coming to VersionTracker and seeing several negative comments in the front page for no good reason really makes me sad.

I also greatly appreciate your willingness to communicate directly with your customers on a regular basis. You do a much better job than Unsanity which leaves everybody in the dark for long periods of time and then from out of nowhere appears and promises to do better then disappears like a ghost only to repeat the pattern.Tuesday, September 29 2009 @ 01:47 PM PDT

Don't let the complainers get you down.People will complain about anything, and often with hidden agendas: to hype their own products (even if said products are not in direct competition with yours), to bring you down to their level of misery, and who knows why else.
I know this firsthand. It IS depressing having something you've poured your heart and soul into criticized by people who have obviously not even used it, or used it so little as to know nothing about it.
Fear not; the quality of your software will speak for itself.
