Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I have tried Path Finder several times, trying to work out why some people speak so highly of it.

It simply reproduces a number of the features that are already available in the Mac OS Finder, but, annoyingly, presents them as a separate application.

If you're looking for a far better way to navigate back and forward through your file system, try Classic Menu. Which, as its name suggests, brings back the old Mac menu that allows you to read long file names and displays everything as a hierarchy you can zoom up and down with just *one* click.

Yep, it's a separate application alright (what else would it be?). But the thing is, it's an application that gives FAR more functionality than the Finder does. So that's why some of us rely on Path Finder.
