I found it to work, but the other day it did not work on 10.4.11 booted from an external drive using 10.4.11 Disc utility was able to repair it though It just was stuck on step 8 for a long time for some reason

Using the instal disc V 909 on a G5 Dual 2 OSX 10.4.11 caused immediate crash which I was unable to correct .
