Seriously. Because switching to iTunes, clicking the minimize/maximize ("+") button in the title bar, and switching back to whatever app you were running is just too much work.

Well, actually, the app is for 10.6, I think.

In 10.6 the comfy little maneuver that we all relied upon, and which you so aptly describe, no longer seems to work. So this is a welcome little addition.
