I tried this app because of its ability to import Stickies. I was hoping it would import my old Stickies from my now defunct 10.5.6 G4 onto my new mac mini, something I found out too late that 10.6 would not allow me to do either. Although all my old third party apps open and run seamlessly on 10.6, Stickies won't even let me import data from version 6 to version 7. And 6 won't run on 10.6.

Unfortunately SpiralBound only imports whatever Stickies notes are in your currently active version of Stickies. It auto-selects that file on starting up and there's no way you can direct it to choose another set of stickies stored on a hard drive.

As soon as I realized that, I quit the program, because I don't think it does anything else that Stickies doesn't do that I need enough to pay for. But at least I know it works so if you think you'd like it try it out for yourself, without fear of malware.
