Checked your disk is not corrupted using disk tools?It always makes me laugh when people post 'this app did all this bad stuff' messages. Usually in my experience a machine upon which an app appears to be badly behaving is actually the cause not the outcome of the bad behaviour.

as listed previously...the app continues to change its prefs to "open at Login" from being unchecked "appear in dock" despite several sets;It now resides in 'calculator heaven'-(tho its said such a place doesnt exist)
