Maybe the people who are getting it to open aren't actually downloading the beta??? I tried downloading from 3 different sites, including Telestream (Snow Leopard beta on left of page). None of them work. Won't open with Stuffit Expander or Archive Utility or Disk Utility.

The image I downloaded from here:http://www.telestream.net/download-files/flip4mac-wmv/Flip4Mac-WMV-2.3.0.11-BETA.dmg
was successfully mounted twice on my 10.6.1 system. The file was downloaded twice 2 hours apart. *I* believe you all, just sharing my experience.
Here's a screenshot showing that the image is mounted.
