This utility cleared font caches that nothing else would. Thank you!
It does what it is supposed to do.
Used on a MacBook and a G5, both running Mac OS X 10.5.8. The G5 was having font problems with Word and InDesign. Font Doctor fixed or moved the damaged fonts, but I needed Font Nuke to clear out the cache files I was missing.
This method worked best for me:
1. Click "Nuke Font Caches" on the top toolbar
2. Click "Update Font Caches List" button on the bottom right corner
3. Click "Nuke Font Caches" button on the bottom right corner
4. Verify that no other applications are running, but
DO NOT click the button to quit other applications;
instead, click the "Continue" button that appears.
FontNuke
Remove font cache files.
Version: 1.1.6
