Compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6) - DaveGeee

I have found that IntelliType 7 is NOT working in Snow Leopard 10.6.

Custom keys can't be assigined. I have verified this by installing a fresh install of 10.6 on a spare hard drive and only installing IntelliType 7. It does not work with Snow Leopard. IntelliPoint (mouse) softwera seems to be working okay though.

I lost ability to use the side buttons on my MS Laser Mouse 6000 around 10.5.7 IIRC, I was hoping these updates might remedy the problem (also can't start system from alternative volume using MS ergonomic keyboard but that might be inherent limitation with third-party keyboards) but no love…I like MS hardware but their software support for the Mac is regrettable IMO.

I've been using 7.0.0 (v.250) Here's what I found. I have a Wireless Comfort Keyboard and the native Snow Leopard driver will work for basic functioning of the keyboard. The MS software enables the function keys but if I want to change the action I have to go into Apple's Keyboard Shortcuts to set this parameter. Zoom does not work, the Calculator and Log Off buttons don't respond and the Eject button does a combination of Expose and the Shut Down dialog?!? The sound buttons work, the My Favorites don't.

Other than that, it's fine :-)

I'm using the latest mac OS/MacBPro/ with an MS natural ergonomic intellitype pro for mac and my numeric keypad won't work. I've been reinstalling updates all morning because once activated they all say the extension in the system library is improperly loaded--get rid of it and reinstall, to no effect that i can tell. Any work around for that?
