Existing users, 
Still waiting for iTunes to finish "Determining Gapless Playback Information".
In my opinion, this is a MAJOR screw-up by someone at Apple.
Anyone care to speculate what the problem is??

I also have this problem on a 1997 macbook pro running Snow Leopard. Trashing the prefs and reinstalling iTunes does not help. iTunes locks up during this procedure or during the updating of the coverflow on this machine.Reply to This
