You could have contacted me. On my website you find my home address and landline number. You could have found out that I'm well known (by actual name, not some anonymous alias) in the REALbasic community. You could have done a LOT to simply substantiate or disprove your "warning" - instead you chose neither and rather rely on a dubious website and go around besmirching others (not just this page but others as well).
That is extremely shoddy.

As far as I can tell WOT works by analyzing (if one can call it that) the number of links to a webpage (taking into account how many webpages link to the ones which link to your webpage). So you can already bump up your rating by putting ads on your page (which I do not), and basically any private site will be marked as suspicious. You should probably somehow get WOT to change your rating. As I'm sure that every other Firefox user with the WOT add-on gets the same info when they visit your website. It might just have been one or two people with an ax to grind who gave you the rating. Maybe it is a complete mistake.Anyway, I'm sure you could get a few friends and supporters to start using the WOT addon and bump up your rating or get in touch with WOT and take it up with them.
Then you might be a little thankful to someone who finally informed you that this is going on so you could correct it.
As for the other thing, I have read *lots* of horror stories about Snow Leopard installations. (Mine went fine.) But it still seems to me that it is unwise to encourage inexperienced users to mess with a brand new and newly installed OS.
I know there are plenty of visitors to VT who are QUITE knowledgeable and would make good use of your app. But I have visited VT for many years and know that there are a lot of users who would just get themselves into trouble using it.
