As a doctoral student, I never have enough time to read my assignments. A PC friend recommended Natural Reader which comes in 5 PC versions and 2 Mac versions (naturally). I watched/listened to hers, bought it, and it would not convert to mp3--just hangs. Too many stupid steps for something that didn't work, that cost a criminal amount of money.
My wife found this, and it worked great the first time, and continues whether it is converting from your clipboard, text file, or Safari web page. Now I copy the converted file to iTunes, load it into a playlist for school readings, and listen to reading assignments being read aloud. I also have Cepstral voices, so they sound very human.
Thank you, Charles Kelly....
