This version of Saft requires that you run Safari in 32 bit mode. If I wanted to use Safari in 32 bit, I'd have stayed with OS X 10.5x. Sorry, but this doesn't cut it. If you can't do a 64 bit Safari add-on, you can't do Snow Leopard. Which means this could be the end of the line for Saft. Too bad. It was a great little Safari helper; I paid the original shareware fee and for two subsequent upgrades over the years so I'll as sad as anyone to see it go. I'd say as much to the developer but he doesn't do e-mail.

Correction to my earlier comment: My cite of "Spell Catcher Pro" should have been, instead, to "Spell Catcher X".David

32 bit - dgkanter
Having already been through the use-32-bit vice 64-bit for Safari in regard to the Snow-Leopard-compatible Spell Catcher Pro and having been pointed to what Apple has written with regard there most-commonly being little impact on 32-bit use at this time, I--for one--have no issue with having to use Safari in 32-bit mode if that were the only issue with maintaining the Saft functionality--at least, initially. (What the cost of the Saft upgrade will be, however, is another issue--on which I've submitted a comment to walfrieda's post "Once again charged for a simple update".)Reply to This
