As usual with Google - clean, simple, fast (oh fast), and provides exactly what one needs. Downloaded and run the application, and master it within 5 short minutes. Uploaded pictures to the internet and shared them with my family for the first time in my life. This is going to be my default pictures browser from now on (and it didn't change the location of my pictures file like iPhoto did the last time I tried it). I also checked the CPU monitor - Picasa uses no more memory than Apple's mail, safari and other application (around 2.2 in ideal, going up to about 50 when activated). Regarding the data that Google collects about me - I gave up a long time ago - Google, M$, Apple and the rest of the "big brothers" know about me more than I know about myself - the point is that there is absolutely nothing that they can get from me ;-)
