Under Snow Leopard VT just doesn't work. It will scan my drive and point to updates. That still happens. But I can't use it to acquire the updates anymore since it freezes after almost any two actions i take with it. My experience, unlike some others, is that VersionTracker has been working very very well over the past 18 months or so. There are still some real oddities, but generally it downloads and installs most updates very well. It never occurred to me, however, that it was no longer supported and that the things that still bothered me would never be fixed. That's my feeling now after seeing the job CNET did with MacFixit forums... I would love to be wrong.
