Hi,

Shades is one of the best applications I have downloaded for my iMac. It works perfectly until I upgraded to snow leopard. After the upgrade, the Shades Preferences became unresponsive and the shades program cannot be shut off and restarted, also, the brightness bar on the menu cannot be tuned and it is stuck at the level of brightness prior to the upgrade.

I'm not sure if others are having the same issues, thanks again for this great product!

Snow Leopard support - russf--2008

Yes, I have exactly the same problem after upgrade.

In-screen sliders work, menu bar drop-down sliders are stuck.

Forced to restart System Prefs before entering Shades pane.

Plus I've always had the problem that when I disconnect and reconnect my external display, each time shades adds *another* layer of shading... So if I repeat, eventually that display becomes too dark to read.

Otherwise, I love it.
