Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

After having been prompted to update FStream to the recent version, I did so, but immediately on opening an .ogg livestream, I could not hear the nothing but a very loud, deafening noise of the type that turns up when there is no signal from an FM or TV transmitter. I tried FStream on another livestream in the .m3u format, and nothing but the deafening noise turned up. This happened in my Power Mac G5 with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Earlier the same day, the same version simply crashed on my old Power PC G4 with OS X 10.4 Tiger. The last working version of FStream was the 1.4.2.The noise was simply too much for my ears.

Deafening noise - bjoernowitsch

After the completely unusable version 1.4.2 of FStream, I found the 1.4.4 version, so I gave it a try. This one works well and is up and running. The only con is that I still have to add the livestreams to the dock, and when I switch from one to another, it works well up to 3 times, but if I want to switch to another livestream, the one I listen to is still running. Could the developers add the facility of adding favorites, so I can select them from a list, just like with QuickTime and Real Player?
