Does InsomniaX allow me to do the following

1. Run InsomniaX to stop macbook going to sleep when lid closed and no external display detected (e.g. when connected to a projector via HDMI, but the projector is OFF)

But ONLY supress "sleep mode" when the lid is first closed

2. Allow me to put the macbook to sleep via another Wake On Lan featured application (e.g. remoteTap on ipod touch)

3. Allow me to wake up the mac via RemoteTap/WakeOnLAN but stop the sleep from kicking in immediately it detects the lid is still closed...

Basically disable sleep only at the very instant the lid is actually closed and not permenantly disable sleep thereafter

Hello. I was reading this post and it seems you have the same issue I am. I'm trying to use my MacBook Pro with the lid closed, hooked up to an HDTV, and I want to wake my MBP using an iPhone app, like iTouch. But they only use a wi-fi signal, so it doesn't wake it. Did this software work for you or have you found a better option? Feel free to email back directly at vbmike73 @ yahoo
