This application has been well maintained as you can see from the number of updates. It seems to be quite stable and has just enough features.

Screen Sharing has been neutered on the OS, Chicken of the VNC is dead and Remote Desktop by Apple is just too bloated (read: expensive) for most users; this app seems to make the most sense for my use right now.

Finally, the application seems to handle all VNC servers that I have attempted to use it with thus far: RealVNC, UltraVNC, TightVNC, bonjour/screen sharing enabled Macs. It has also worked with the Linux-based VNC servers.
