I DONT UNDERSTAND why so many developers are being caught by surprise here-its been rumoured for a month at least that SL would be out by end of August-and "Sept" COULD have meant Sept 1-for all they knew.....developer notes he "should have a copy (of SL) by Sept 3-4" (!) What?!

You are officially badgering the developer, seeing as you had to complain, yet again, in another post above. Read my reply to that also unnecessary and un-nice post. Face what's actually bothering you. It's not AppleJack. Taking out your angst on a freeware developer makes just about this much sense:
