In spite of the new features of Preview in 10.6, some of which must have been inspired by Skim,
Skim is and remains by far the superior PDF-reader around!
And in distinction from the new Preview (which crashed twice in the 18 hours I have it),
Skim never crashes, dutifully updates itself and reopens where you left off.
It is not only for scientific papers!
