Was using version Opera 9.64 which is now replaced by version 10 but this simply will not open - Have tried deleting and re-installing but with same problem - Have now reinstalled 9.64 from my backups and it is now working
Opera has become important to me since Snow Leopard as I can't download anything using Safari as I only get a black screen
Any advice welcomed

Opera 10 install in Snow Leopard - duckhue1
Yeah, do what I did, had a fresh clone of Leopard 10.5.8 and reverted bad to it. Snow Leopard won't be ready until version 10.6.9, and then the developers should have caught up with their 3rd party apps. This includes the ISP's where as Apple mail won't send.Tuesday, September 01 2009 @ 10:49 AM PDT
Opera 10 install in Snow Leopard - Rufus J
Have you tried it in a different user account? This often reveals that the problem is a conflict with a file in your home directory. This is something that is too common in OS X and it seems that for some reason or another, Opera is especially prone to this. If you can run it logged in as a different user, this is the problem.Reply to This
