...why does Trailrunner make multiple attempts to determine my IP address, by attempting to connect to sequentially several IP address lookup sites? Thank goodness for Little Snitch and proxy servers!

I try to find out where you (approximately) live to display a map that shows your region. With 10.6 I can use the Location Manager but that's a sound of the future. Sorry for giving you a big snitch on this.
