Love this program, (also have the iPhone ver) BUT!!! the upgrade price is a little steep, due to the fact that SL is only 29 euros!! and paying 20 euros for a BETA (early bird update price) just to have this program working on SL is a little bit hard to swallow! and will have to think twice on this update!

We did a bad job explaining Snow Leopard support, I apologize for that. 1Password 2 works fine on Snow Leopard, except for the Safari integration. To make 1Password 2 work in Safari on Snow Leopard, you must configure Safari to run in 32-bit mode. You can see this blog post for details:http://agile.ws/s/399fc811c
Regarding 1Password 3, it has been in development for over a year and has many exciting new features. You can see this blog post for more details on the new features:

With all the new features we feel the $19.95 upgrade is very compelling. Those testing the 1Password 3 will tell you that a lot has changed for the better and we're very excited to be releasing 1Password 3 later this year.
I hope that helps clear things up.
