I have used this product in early versions for a number of years. The latest incarnation as Wire Tap Studio has continued to improve a very good product. I am a professional audio user, both as a musician and as a radio producer. I use products such as the full suite of Bias products as well as Logic - and these all have their important place in my box of tricks. Yet I constantly find myself using Wire Tap because of its ease of use and reliability. The latest version rocks! This is not a review so I'm not going into it's great features, but what Ambrosia claim above is accurate. Yes it costs, for god's sake - what do people expect? Not even water is free, so a well developed and well supported product is only going to get to that stage if it is financially viable. Moaning and complaining about this aspect of software release shows a complete lack of developmental and financial sense. Get a life! If you have genuine issues as a result of using the product then speak with Ambrosia and help improve it.

If your just going to 'slag -off' because of 'hidden agenda' - do us all a favour and keep your mouth shut. Buy it, don't buy it - that is always the option you have.
