So far everything is running very fast and smooth. I almost hesitate to complain but I've run in to two issues that bug me. The new Quicktime interface it dumbed down from QT Pro. Selection of video for copying or trimming isn't as fast/easy anymore with just the trim function. The "Movie Info" window option is gone, it still has the "Movie Inspector" box available but "Movie Info" was a great/simple way to enable and disable movie tracks and more importantly, rotate video (e.g. digital camera video that was taken in portrait instead of landscape).
My other, less important gripe is that my EyeTV (or other remote controllable apps like Boxee) still receive the IR remote commands like Play and Fast Forward but iTunes picks them up as well, even if iTunes is quit and I have the app I want to control in the foreground, then hit play, it causes iTunes to fire up and play. Arg.

Quicktime changes and EyeTV remote problems - matt68000
Ah, found the old QuickTime Player 7 in the "Utilities" directory with the Movie Properties and A/V controls. Whew... Now if I can get the remote working properly.Reply to This
