Apparently the OS 10.6 release at the end of August was quicker than Agile anticipated and 1Password 3, required for 10.6, isn't quite ready for prime time. Agile's website provides an unsupported kluge for running 1Password 2 on 10.6 but I'm going to hold up on the new OS update until 1Password 3 has been out for awhile and its compatibility is proven. I found out the hard way how indispensable 1Password is when a Safari update awhile back broke it for a few days.

I hate to break it to you, but 1Password hasn't been working in Safari for me either since upgrading Friday night. I just tried today's 1P update and it still doesn't show up in Safari. However, it DOES show in Firefox.Sunday, August 30 2009 @ 05:13 PM PDT

Ok, nevermind me. I finally got 1P to work with Safari. I missed the link provided to the blog that details getting Safari to run in 32-bit mode.Monday, August 31 2009 @ 08:22 PM PDT
Worth Waiting for Snow Leopard Compatibility - dteare
We certainly would have enjoyed having an extra month before Snow Leopard arrived :)
With that said, 1Password 2 does run on Snow Leopard, and 1Password 3 is in beta testing and when is completed it will include full Snow Leopard support (i.e. 64-bit Safari support).
