Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

I tried this on Windows and it's nice to have your calendar on the desktop. I know this comes from the PC world, is free and that it's also a lot of work to add PPC code if you don't use Apples developer tools.

It would have been nice though as PPC will continue to be a substantial minority in the Macworld. After all my Dual 2.0 G5 with 4GB kept tabs with and exceled in a few tests that we conducted against a new Mac Pro Eight core Nehalem with 16GB in my office this spring when both ran the exact same operations on the one realworld Final Cut Studio 2 project. Overall the now 4 year old G5 won!

This will change with the next Final Cut studio I'm sure, but nevertheless it's an accomplishment on the G5's part.

While I'll definitely will be getting an Intel Mac, a portable probably, it's a shame Apple didn't make it easier for Windows developers to port their software to OS X. It's also sad when developers don't make the effort, though in Rainlendars case it's understandable.
