Server Doesn't Respond

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: billhiltonjr Friday, August 21 2009 @ 06:07 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Although I paid for lifetime upgrades for this app and received a serial number in short order, whenever I try to register I get prompts that say I should try later. And later. And later. And later. Now waiting for an e-mail response from developer.

Server Doesn't Respond - Gypsy John

I thank everyone for their comments. They have convinced me that I'm not going to waste my time or $$ on something that the developer obviously hasn't either. Thanks!

As a follow-up, the developer did respond with an e-mail but did not explain why I was unable to connect to the server. Next day they sent a new serial number, but the application wouldn't recognize it at all so I'm still dead in the water.

Server Doesn't Respond - mocuana

Hello,

We have responded to all of your mails.
The problem you are experiencing is because on Mac OS 10.5 there is a bug with the short user names, and when it has a blank space, our application is not able to activate. That is why we generate a manual offline activation key. All that you need to do is to send the short user name.

Indeed, I did get e-mails from the developer and they supplied a variety of registration numbers. The bug was as described, and one of the numbers finally worked. I appreciate their working on the problem. The app is now working as advertised.
