ExpanDrive is a great application that somehow seems to be fast and stable (despite using MacFUSE). I was super excited after downloading it and trying it out, and then I saw the price tag: $39.95. Quite ridiculous for what is essentially a pretty SFTP/S3 client. Panic's Transmit, a full-fledged client, is only $29.95. But wait, there's more! Add ExpanDrive as a fan on Facebook and get a dollar off coupon. Oh great, $38.95. No thanks. Fail.

Agreed 100%. The Facebook coupon used to be 70% off ($29 down to $9) - 2.5% is a farce... as is a $40 app that would not have been possible without the underlying MacFUSE open source software.
