Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

It really says a lot about a "developer" that doesn't offer an easy uninstall app or uninstall instructions on their site. I check their forum and no clear answer was offered... got a "why do you want to uninstall it" answer instead. GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I know the frustration in trying to remove everything an installer has spread within your Operating System and the developer has the curtsey to issue an un-installer... Find yourself two apps: AppZapper and Hazel (one clears out all pertinent files and the other picks out embedded files the first may had missed). Worth the coin if you dare to test-install things.

You use the uninstaller that is part of the installed software. Or you read the ReadMe file listing the files installed.

So what?

I don't think the version I had had an uninstaller, I looked and couldn't find it. So I thought maybe user error and downloaded Version 7. There isn't any uninstaller in that dmg either and having to pluck through a bunch of files it scatters everywhere is lame.

The uninstaller is provided in the DivX folder that gets installed. If you had looked in there before you deleted it, you would have seen it in there.
