Existing users, 
The M-Audio site lists this as the same driver released in June 2008. IT is the same so WTF? From the M-Audio site:

And yes, their drivers STINK! Slow to issue updates and when they do they don't work. You CANNOT hot swap M-Audio devices of they fry your components, including your computer and all attached Firewire device ports (at least!)
No, this is no new release, it is the same garbage driver that's been out over a year and won't run without a startup error every time.
Never again, M-Audio!
