Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Like others, I found this to be a very nice app, getting a bit old in the tooth, but still nice.

Apparently, Snow Leopard, does not install Rosetta by default. One must choose the custom install and then proceed.

Addressix is the last app that I have that was writtren for PPC, and thus, when installing Snow Leopard, I will move forward and switch to a different address app rather than installing Rosetta just for this app.

Indeed I enjoyed the ride, but it is coming to an end...

Compatible with Snow Leopard??? - Felix01

Yep, same here...I declined Rosetta when I upgraded to to Snow Leopard and Addressix was apparently the only app I had which was compiled for the PPC and still required Rosetta. Pretty slick though the way 10.6 popped up a note asking if I wanted to download and install Rosetta (entirely online).

Like the OP, I said 'no thanks' and will try to find something else to take Addressix's place. The developer has had plenty of time to work this out if he's interested in moving forward. Apparently he isn't.
