This is a replacement (what an understatement!) for iCal written by the same folks who ORIGINALLY (not recently) wrote Now-Up-To-Date-Contact. It is an elegant calendar that syncs across LANs, Google Calendar, and mobile phones. It's everything iCal should be and more!
And, although it's still in beta, the quality is better than some released apps I've used.
