Wouldn't restart until I disconnected all USB /Firewire

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Installed this with apparently no problems, but on restart, it got stuck on a gray screen without even the Apple logo. Couldn't even start the system with the System discs or in Target mode.

Then I had the idea to disconnect all peripherals, and voila! It started up perfectly. Just a tip for anyone else who has the same difficulty...

Wouldn't restart until I disconnected all USB /Firewire - deemery

Me too, but then I believe Apple tells you to disconnect all peripherals (so I have no excuse/reason to complain...)
