The upgrade went as expected. Apparently all that Apple fixed is the SMS vulnerability.
I had hoped they would fix the recurring "phantom podcasts" (i.e., after deleting podcasts, their images keep reappearing though their sound or video files are gone), or "phantom e-mails": the fact that erased e-mail addresses appear in the To: (or Bcc:) entries when you type a letter.
So we'll have to wait for 3.0.2 and the next iTunes ...
(iPhone 3GS 16 GB, Mac OS 10.5.7, iTunes 8.2.1 (6), iMac 2.93 GHz)
Apple iPhone
Firmware for the phone (available via iTunes).
Version: 3.1.2
Easy upgrade. Did not resolve "phantom Podcast" and "phantom email addresses" problems
