A new feature that they forgot to mention...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

NetNewsWire is now supported by ads in the subscriptions pane. It's a small feature, I guess not worth mentioning.

I would pay for a non ad supported version, but I don't see one available for personal use. Guess it might be time to look for a new RSS reader.

The Ad SUCKS! - MAC_1984

Thankfully, I saved an older version as the ad sucks!

Yes, A new feature that they forgot to mention... - rapope--2008

Yes, this is annoying since I had paid for the "non-lite" version (i.e., the version without the advertisements), only to be steered to a beta to maintain all the features, as the only synching that is supported as of 31-August is Google Reader.

Will there be any equivalent version of NNW 3.2.x that DOESN'T force advertisements on the user?

No-ad pay version is coming - JiminnyUK

From their blog:
"Why ads in the consumer applications? We are heading toward two versions – those with ads and forthcoming for-pay versions without ads. We feel that the quality of the apps is such that these are fair deals. We hope you’ll agree."
