Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

LOVE this app, have been using it for a couple of years, but all of a sudden it doesn't work for me. I get the download status window, it immediately tells me it's "finished downloading," but the saved .flv file is empty. What's up?
System Info:OS 10.4.11 (also 10.5), QuickTime 7.6.2, Perian 1.1.3

Same problem here. I loved this little gem of a program! And all of a sudden it doesn't work any more!!! Help!!!! What happened? If it is any help, I installed Leopard, but even so TubeTV still worked fine for a while, and then it stopped. So then I downloaded TubeTV 1.0 and installed it again no less than three times. No dice. If anyone knows what is going on, please do tell. Like many of you, I'm sure, I'm getting desperate. I need this to work and I'm stuck. Does anyone know what other program could approximate TubeTV? Thanks. If you have the answer, would you be kind enough to let me know directly at jjs110@cox.net ? Thanks again.

I believe Google's changes to YouTube broke TubeTV.

I hope the develop can either fix it or otherwise note the problem on his page.

(Has anyone actually mailed him yet?)

I'm in the same boat! What the heck happened? Suddenly, the darn thing doesn't work. I'm running a MacBook Pro, 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, OS X 10.5.7.

I get the same results as identified in the original post. It tells me that it is downloaded and within 1 second or so, it states finished and then the second download pops up as an error.

This is really weird. When the solution surfaces, please post to this forum.

Well, I found no troubleshooting for that one, but instead I installed MacTubes. A little different but gets the job done.

DEAD APP. Very sad. I loved this app. Super useful. Now I fear it is broken forever. At least I was able to save a few rare vids that have now been removed.
