So nice of Google to have put their best Mac developer on this project. What they forgot to mention is that it's the ONLY developer working on the project. Odds are good that Chrome version 3 will be out for Windows before this thing gets done on Mac. I know money can't fix every obstacle when it comes to developing software but come on already, this has become beyond absurd. Google jerks.

One of the most Mac-lazy companies in the world. - wordzenpix

I hate to agree but I do. I've been a great admirer of Google until it got so big it lost its human face. Picasa for Windows is absolutely the cat's meow for amateurs and pros alike. Such a workhorse. I was excited when Mac beta came out, but now it lingers like a bad fart, glitchy and unattended. I still use it on my Mac, but it has to be treated with deference and workarounds to get even close to its Windows half brother. It's way past time for the beta tag to disappear. There's no way I can find to contact Google. In their early days, I wrote them a love letter and got a personal reply from a real human being. It's the Dodo bird thing all over.
