Tried launching this beta version several times, but it crashes fairly immediately after launching with a crash report window. I'm using OS 10.4.11. I just sent the crash log to the developers.

If you want a stable version, visit the developer site and download the latest stable version.

Let me say that I am a HUGE Audacity fan! I use it all the time. Many of the tools in Audacity are as good as or better than those in high-end products. I just sent the developers a donation for their excellent work. The fact that the most recent version has a little hiccup should not cause anyone to hesitate to make Audacity a part of their audio tool set.
